About us

Local Food, Grown with Heart and Soil. At Round The Field, we believe real food starts in living soil. From our half-acre, hand-worked garden in Bucklebury, West Berkshire, we grow seasonal organic produce with care, integrity, and a deep respect for the land. Founded by Tom and Tessa Green in October 2022, our garden is built on regenerative, no-dig, and ecologically-focused practices. With no tractors, no chemicals, and no shortcuts, we farm entirely at human scale, every bed formed by hand, every harvest a result of thoughtful planning and patient care. We are proud to be a Soil Association certified organic market garden.

From Living Soil to Your Kitchen Our garden may be small, but it's bursting with purpose. We cultivate half an acre of no-dig beds, intensively planted and always in tune with the seasons. By avoiding tilling, we protect delicate soil structures, encourage mycorrhizal fungi and beneficial microbes, and boost fertility the natural way, producing more flavourful, nutrient-rich crops. We also raise pasture-fed poultry, who graze in rotation on our regeneratively managed land, giving back to the soil and producing happier, healthier eggs
